Every year approximately 8 billion Danish kroner is donated by more than 4600 Danish foundations to thousands of nonprofits all working to make the world a better place. But no one has the overview of who donates to what, what results are created and who collaborates.
Found Aid has developed a platform to create this overview and facilitate new collaborations, and learnings. It is easy to report on results, simple to get an overview and effective to use. For all parties.
Found Aid runs a strong pro bono network of experienced consultants from leadings consultancies. The consultants can easily use their vast experience on initiatives identified by foundations. For a greater good.

For foundations: Get a standardized description of initiatives and well-structured updates on activities and results - and over time - effective knowledge sharing with other foundations.
For nonprofits: Get support to describe initiatives and report on activities and results - also to more foundations at a time - and over time effective knowledge sharing with other grantees.
For pro bono consultants: Can be called upon to support nonprofits as part of the company´s CSR activities.

Our journey started in 2017 when the idea of foundgood and the probono network was born – inspired by the digital transformation in private companies and the power of the platform economies – enabling
partnerships and collaboration. This should benefit philanthropy too!

Proof of concept: Complete
Prototype developed to gauge interest amongst foundations and nonprofits and understand key motivators for both.
AUTUMN 2018
Pilot release: Complete
First version of the platform built, first user accounts for four foundations and their pilot grantees created, first initiatives created and reported on. First probono work done with Lauritzen Foundation, Implement Consulting and Ventilen

Meet the founder
Meet the founder
Hanne Brinch is a senior business transformation leader and innovative problem solver with a vision of a strong civil society where philanthropic foundations play a key role doing good. Hanne single-handedly founded the nonprofit company Found Aid in 2017 to make it easier to do good and spent money well – inspired by the platform economies and power of big data.
She is building on her strategy execution experience and project management experience from 21 years in some of the largest and best performing companies in the world. She has a deep passion and proven track record for data driven decisions with an impact.
She is motivated by tackling complexity and delivering tangible results through focus, team work, innovative technologies and doing good– to harnesh our society with humanity in the era of exponential technological change.
